Dr. Seuss steered away from girls being the main characters in his works. Some of his books don't have females in them at all. So, "Pontoffel Pock, Where Are You?" is pretty unusual in not only having a heroine, but having her be decidedly alluring.

DePatie Freleng handled the animation for this 1980 TV special, but the superb touches of earlier Seuss works like "The Cat In The Hat" and "The Lorax" are missing. Those hoping for "Horton" and "Grinch" cleverness and editing are going to be disappointed. I had to struggle to watch enough of "Pock" to get Neefa Feefa's likeness.
