I'm guessing I'm the only one who has tried drawing Ariel as one of the Sea Witch's polyps. (Poor Unfortunate Souls)
A topless Ariel. Well, she went bottomless when she first transformed into a human. But this close up was allowed in the film because it doesn't resemble her usual body; it's only a third her height and very gaunt. I didn't draw the dark magic swirling around her. That's for another day.
as of 12-4-2014, I updated the image with more detail and lightly laid out the evil magic with some blue pencil which didn't scan with the same intensity as graphite (which was deliberate). Looks like I'll need another approach.
