Popeye finds out it's no longer March (the hard way) in "Cookin' with Gags". Bluto plays every low-down joke he can beginning with a spring-loaded boxing glove in a case of cigars which kicks off the episode.  Olive Oyl is constantly nagging Popeye for blowing his cool at Bluto's innocent jabs--which keeps Popeye from getting even until the very end.
